So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker 🤣 but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!
This is a great dog friendly microbrewery in North KC that includes a very neat outdoor patio area with plenty of places to grab a picnic table and hang out. They have outdoor games like bags and boards, as well as a small shaded patio area closer to the door. It wasn't very crowded when we were there but seems like it could handle a decent sized crowd.
The beers were great! I had the Weathered Wit (a wheat beer) and The Block IPA.
No real food options but you can easily order BBQ from the restaurant next door which is a nice touch.
This is a nice brewery. It attracts a younger crowd, but it was pleasant and enjoyable. There are 3 "rooms", the main room, a quieter side room and the outside.
The place was clean, the staff was friendly and willing to give samples, and the side room was quiet enough to chat without yelling.
The beers I had all had a very distinct grain flavor as their base with "style" flavors on top.
The ciders were very flavorful and refreshing.
No complaints on my visit.
What a cool surprise in North Kansas City, especially when paired with the neighborhood barbecue. Friendly, quick staff. Plenty of seating. Wide range of styles, from a lemon sour to a hazy IPA. Plenty of merchandise, too.
Great quiet laid-back place to relax, watch sports or "people watch" while enjoying a drink! Cozy little nooks, small tables, big tables for larger parties, they have it all, and don't forget to grab a "board or card game" to engage and laugh even more! Plenty of room and plenty drinks.... it's worth the visit and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their products! Impressive!
Great place to hang out, the beers were really good. The blood orange cider was so good, and non alcoholic! The patio was pretty dusty but we didn't mind too much.
This is a great venue, there is plenty of space. There's the main bar area, a quieter side area, which is also used for quiz night, and an outside area. All have plenty of seating and wheelchair accessible.
The food was lovely, we visited twice whilst visiting KC from the UK and ate once there. We had the loaded Mac and Cheese, one with pork and one with burnt ends, both were incredible....as was the cornbread (a completely new thing to us brits!)
We specifically visited on Tuesday evening for the pub quiz, which was enjoyable, apart from not knowing much American Trivia! The host was probably the best I've come across, bringing enthusiasm, sass and competitiveness. Dropped .5 star purely by slow arrival of food, but rounded up to 5.
We are always looking to try out new breweries. This was a great venue. The beers were just alright nothing was a real standout.
